YOU WANTED You wanted to feel the world by opening your wings prematurely. The glowing Spring inside you was giving out golden rays to the whole world. You walked in the sparkle of fire and in the thick darkness. Your weak wings could not bear the pressure of the winds and your own rush. Mud seized your days and colors’ loneliness your soul. Your body casted away now, counts the wounds and the years passed by. Giannis Papageorgiou, Greece Poem from the book - poetry collection «My Unknown Brother»
